The GSD SPECIALITY SHOW and breed survey 16.-17.09.2017
During the weekend 16-17.09.2017, the main specialized exhibition of German Shepherd Dogs took place with 113 dogs applied from five countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and Finland. The exhibition was attended by 108 dogs in total. Thank you to all participants for the positive emotions, and congratulations on your achievements.

Breeders
The rules of applying evaluation „excellent” (VA) in specialized dog shows organized by Latvian German shepherd dog club.
This evaluation can be given in working class both for males and females upon judges opinion if dog has met criterias mentioned below:
- Dog has reached at least age two years;
- Dog fully meets following criterias;
- Has finished international FCI training „IPO 1” or similar not lower than that;
- Has passed breed survey;
- Dog has full teeth formula;
- DNA is confirmed;
- In protection work should get evaluation “expressingly realeases”;
- HD not lower than A;B, ED not lower than 0;1.
*The original of dog pedigree must be showed upon request of judge or organizers in all show days.
*For all dogs registered in working classes the additional documents must be showed: Training and HD/ED certificate. Breed Survey certificate for dogs older then 3,5 years.
Schedule can be changed by show organizers. Updated information will follow.
All participants of event should follow the rules of LKF „Show participants code of ethics”. In situation the rules are abused the participant is penalized in the procedure set out in the aforementioned rules.
